This Upcoming Week:

Monday 11/14- Teachers’ Appreciation Breakfast

Parent volunteers have organized this year’s first teachers’ appreciation breakfast, an event focused on recognizing the work and commitment of South’s teachers.

Food or beverage donations can be dropped off from 7:15-8:15 a.m. on this day to any of the four house offices.

Tuesday 11/15- Shoo Flu Clinic

Students whose families completed the required forms will receive their flu vaccinations over the course of this school day.

Though flu vaccines are not mandatory, students are strongly encouraged to receive them, and thus if they missed this deadline should talk to their parents, guardians, or physician.  

Thursday 11/7- PTSO Meeting

The Newton South Parent Teacher Student Organization will host a meeting on this day to discuss plans for the current school year, budget approvals, and hear from multiple teacher and student representatives.

The meeting will take place in the Newton South Library beginning at 7 p.m.

This Past Week:

Monday 11/7- Photo Retakes

This was the last day offered for student photos who were either absent on previous scheduled days or unsatisfied with their received photographs.

Lifetouch photographers were available during J block in the Field House and students attended should be receiving their photographs from their advisories teachers in the coming weeks.
