This Upcoming Week:

Monday 1/16- Martin Luther King Day

All regularly scheduled classes and activities for South students and faculty will be cancelled due to the national holiday of Martin Luther King Day.

Wednesday 1/17- AP Exam Registration Begins

Registration for all students interested in completing an Advanced Placement exam will begin on this day and must be completed through Total Registration.

After finishing their registration, students must print two copies, one for their own records and one to give to Beth Astone in the Main Office from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

In addition to these completed forms, all students must bring a check made out to Newton South with AP written on the memo line with the appropriate payment as each exam costs $95.

Students will also need to sign up for a pre-administration session listed on their Total Registration accounts. All sessions will be held during lunch in the Cutler Commons on April 3, 5, and 27.

During these sessions, students will fill in their identification information and receive an AP number. Students are encouraged to remember or keep their AP number in a safe place as replacements are not going to be made if these numbers are lost.

This registration period will begin on this day and last until March 17 with the payment deadline for all exams being March 24. If students do not match these deadlines, then an exam will not be ordered for them.
