Monday-Thursday 5/9-512- AP Exams
Advanced Placement exams continue throughout this week for students currently registered in their corresponding classes ranging from comparative government to statistics to the french language.
Tuesday 5/10- Senior Assembly
During advisory, all seniors are excused to attend a senior assembly that will last the entirety of the scheduled advisory block.
Wednesday 5/11- Senior Parents’ Night
All seniors’ parents are invited to South’s annual Senior Parents’ Night located at Newton South High School beginning at seven.
Friday 5/13- Midterm IV
As the 2015-2016 school year nears its end, this day marks the last midterm of the year for all students and faculty.
Students should expect midterm comments from all their current teachers on their Skyward portfolio shortly after this day.
This Past Week:
Friday 5/6- Senior Assassins
The annual senior assassin competition has begun with all participating seniors now pursuing their target in the hopes of eliminating them by squirting their competitors with water guns.
Once one is eliminated, you are required to tell your assassin the target you have been assigned. Thus, the annual game will conclude when one member of the senior class is left standing and this winner is awarded a cash prize.
