John Jennings pitched 8 strong innings in a loss to St. John’s Prep. He also added a home-run to put the Lions up 1-0 in the second inning. In the eighth inning with the score at 5-1 the Lions had the bases loaded with no outs and the top of the order coming to bat. They were held to only one run to make the score 5-2. The Lions ended their season with an 11-11 record and senior John Jennings was named MVP of the DCL.
