Newton Centre, MA – Newton South freshman, Daniel Damb, has been declared missing as of 12:14 PM on Friday, March 11th.
Damb was last seen Friday morning, looking through the lost and found in the Goldrick commons. Damb’s friends say he made the daring journey in hopes of finding a jacket he misplaced earlier that day.
Jennifer O’Brien, one of Damb’s classmates, vividly recalls the incident.
“Yeah, I saw Daniel in the senior commons the other day,” O’Brien said, “but now that I think about it, something did seem a little off. It looked like the seniors were making a plan to do something to Daniel, and then they started walking towards him while chanting ‘sacrifice.’”
This piece of information has given investigators a big breakthrough in the case of the missing freshmen. Detectives now believe that the seniors are responsible for the disappearance of Daniel Damb.
We were able to catch up with some seniors who were in the senior commons at the time of Damb’s disappearance, including Luke Smalls.
“I have no clue what happened to that freshman,” Smalls said. “I saw him come in, but after that I zoned him out- I do that to a lot of them.”
With all the different stories about what actually went down the day Damb went missing, it is almost impossible to know the truth.
If you are interested in helping to find freshman Daniel Damb, there will be a search party held after school on Wednesday, the 16th, with the intentions of finding some clues as to where Daniel could be.
If you have any further information about Damb’s whereabouts, please call 1-800-SAVETHEFRESHMAN. He was last spotted in white vans.
