Monday is going to be one of the only days this whole week that it is not raining, so what better way to spend it than by listening to a little remixed throwback? The nice beat drops and various sounds in this track work perfectly with the original song, which was released back in 2011, making it a great piece to listen while waiting for the worst day of the week to be over.
Wednesday: Higher– Rihanna
Still looking for a song that will get you through the gloominess of a rainy day? Well, look no further. This Wednesday will be yet another rainy day, which calls for some Rihanna. “Higher” is one of the tunes from Rihanna’s newest album, Anti, which has become known for “Work” and “Needed Me”. Coming in at only two minutes long, this short song is one of the best but most rated on the album, thanks to Riri’s amazing vocals.
Friday: Show Me Love (feat. Chance the Rapper, Moses Sumney & Robin Hannibal) [Skrillex Remix]- Hundred Waters
This Friday it is going to rain (again), but it’s okay because it is the last day before Spring break! This song is the best thing to listen to on a day like this. The soft vocals of Hundred Waters, mixed with the unique lines from Chance and Moses, form a perfectly balanced song that seems like it was written for a rainy day. So if you need something to listen to to get through the last Friday before break, give this one a try.
