Monday: “Juke Jam“- Chance the Rapper ft. Justin Bieber
This Monday will be warm, but not as hot as the rest of the week. On days like this, Chance is the perfect artists to listen to. Straight off of Chance the Rapper’s newest album Coloring Book, “Juke Jam” is one of the more mellow tunes but definitely one of the best as well. Also, it features Justin Bieber, so how can it not be good? If you don’t believe me, check it out for yourself.
Wednesday: “Millionaire“- Cash Cash & Digital Farm Animals ft. Nelly (Alan Walker Remix)
Wednesday is going to be the hottest day of the week, which calls for a song with a nice beat drop. Alan Walker, the DJ behind “Faded” and “Sing Me to Sleep”, remixes this song by fellow DJs Cash Cash and Digital Farm Animals, making it even better than the original. The upbeat tune and lyrics of “Millionaire” are just some of the countless things that make this song a must have for this very hot day. So do yourself a favor and give this track a listen (or 100 listens).
Throwback Thursday: “Pursuit of Happiness“- Kid Cudi ft. MGMT
There is no better song to describe how you feel after almost being done with the second week of the school year than “Pursuit of Happiness”. It also doesn’t hurt that it is going to be pretty warm, which is something that makes me happy too. This masterpiece featuring MGMT is from 2009, but that does not stop it from being one of the best songs ever written by Kid Cudi. So if you are looking for a song to get you through this Throwback Thursday, add this one to your new playlist; you will not regret it.
Friday: “Caroline“- Aminé
Friday is going to be another fairly hot day, which is just the type of weather you need to listen to this jam. “Caroline” is rapper Amine’s first popular single that he has released, and there is no question as to why: it is perfection– the perfect combination of hip hop and rap. It is the perfect song for the last day of the school week, so listen to this bump while you drive away from school and all night long as you live it up because no school tomorrow!
