This Coming Week:
Thursday 1/21: Newton South’s choral and instrumental groups will come together for their second concert of the year. This show, which will be held in the Seasholes Auditorium at 7 PM, will focus on modern Norwegian composers, specifically Ola Gjeilo, whose blend of uniquely dissonant a cappella music and blaringly powerful chorus-band collaboratives will be sure to leave a lasting impression. In addition, there will be a bake sale at the event to help raise money for the food pantries in the Newton community.
