Monday-Friday 3/28-4/1- Schoolwide Conversation

Over the next couple weeks, English teachers will give all students a lesson in defining hate speech at South.

Principal Joel Stembridge, announced via email, that students will be asked to take an anonymous survey about hate speech incidents they experienced in school.

These surveys will be then analyzed and those results will help students and faculty determine ideas for the next step of progress South should take.

The goal of this conversation is to make students more aware of the impact their words have and to ensure that South remains a place where all members feel valued, safe, and welcomed.
