This year was an unprecedented year in football history; due to covid, teams had to cancel games, quarantine players, and play with backup players. Without a bubble, the NFL was highly prone to COVID-19 outbreaks among the players, coaches, and staff. Through some of these crippling personnel losses, teams were forced to play in less-than ideal conditions. The New England Patriots were forced to play without their starting quarterback, Cam Newton, when he contracted the virus. The Denver Broncos signed and started an undrafted free agent named Kendall Hinton in week 12 when both the starting and backup quarterbacks contracted COVID-19. Though there have been a few setbacks, it is remarkable how smoothly the season went considering the circumstances, and under those circumstances, the fantasy football junkies still got what they came for: a season of heartbreaks and miracles.
